Busy day

My mom volunteers at her local ASPCA and yesterday I joined her and my cousin Tom to walk a few dogs. The ASPCS is located directly across the woods so it's a great spot to walk the dogs. First we walked 3 dogs for an hour and then 2 more for another hour. It's quite tiring because they're large dogs and they pull on their leash.

This morning, I ran errands downtown with my mom. On July 10th, the town will be the arrival spot of the 3rd leg of the Tour de France. It's going to be incredibly crowded.

After going downtown, we drove out to a village in the countryside to go buy flour. My mom has been baking her own bread and she buys the flour directly from the mill. The bread is out of this world, especially the baguette (Cece & Eddie, you would never want to leave!!)

On the way there, we passed quaint villages and lots and lots of fields.

The flour mill is run the old-fashioned way and only 2 men handle the entire operation.

My mom is a very frequent customer so we got a tour of the mill and they explained how everything works and the various steps and different types of flours.

Sticks them in the oven and voila!

In the afternoon, I spent some time with my god-daughter Claire. We went shopping for her birthday present and played with Playmobils and jumped rope.
